The Logistics Analyst will oversee supply chain processes and product delivery by tracking and reviewing invoices, shipment status, and delivery route activity.

Duties and Responsibilities
​

Collect, interpret, and analyze various types of logistics data, including the availability of products, reliability of transport and delivery, and other data related to product supply chain management, sourcing, and distribution.

Maintains updated databases of logistics information.
-
Tracks product flow from origin to delivery via web-based logistics systems and other appropriate inventory monitoring methods.

Track KPIs and report on supply chain performance
-
Reviews logistics processes and procedures; identifies, recommends, and implements improvements to maximize delivery efficiency while minimizing costs.
-
Reviews and analyzes transportation costs and delivery processes, inventory issues such as back orders, and other fulfillment metrics.
-
Uses analytic methods and tools to understand, predict, and control logistics operations and processes.

Monitors warehouse facilities to evaluate inventory transactions such as receiving, storage, shipping, and inventory integrity.

Monitors claims process, transit times, and shipping costs.

Create models for expansion of 3LPs

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

Familiarity with supply chain processes (e.g.inventory planning, warehouse management, shipping database, shipping cost, transit times)

Strong analytical skills to interpret data and metrics
-
Problem-solving skills to take quick and decisive action when the supply chain breaks down
-
Experience in data mining, analysis, and reporting
-
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and relational databases
-
Solid skills with the Google Suite applications
-
Extensive knowledge of shipping and distribution channels.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-
Proficiency in computer databases, statistic applications, and logistics programs

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field required.
-
2+ years of experience in the Logistics industry or related industry
-
Proficient with Excel and other analytics tools and database management
-
Advance with Tableau or other visualization tools
-
